What’s in the Museum

The museum contains numerous collections including memorabilia from Annie Oakley, the former Guthrie Store, postcards, toys, information on prominent Nutley families and much more!

It also includes the Alice J. Bickers Library which contains
over 200 volumes of historical books and maps devoted
to the history of New Jersey.

Our museum docents are member volunteers.

The Meeting Room

The first floor of the building is still used today as a meeting
room for local civic organizations, such as the Nutley Art
Group, Tri-County Camera Group and others. We have the ever changing, rotating photo-pictorial of Nutley’s “Then & Now” available for viewing.

The meeting room is also available for use by members, for
family gatherings, civic meetings, sporting celebrations
and the like, from September to June.
