Guest Speaker Barry Lenson on the artwork of Michael Lenson
Barry Lenson, son of the late Michael Lenson, one of America’s most important realist painters, will talk about the history of his father’s works. Some of his original paintings will be displayed.

The Nutley Museum
Corinn Somers, vocals and percussion; Mike Luipersbeck, drums; Michael Gabriele, saxophone; Peter Greco, piano and vocals. The quartet performed at the museum last May.
A “free-will” donation of $5 per person is suggested.
The event will include complementary beverages and snacks.
The audience will be invited to tour the museum during intermission.

Annual fall festival
Nutley Museum Meeting Room
Bring the children and join the fun for pumpkin painting and light refreshments. Museum tours will be conducted by Town Historian John Demmer.
Son of muralist donates work – Nutley Sun
Barry Lenson recently donated two paintings by his father, Michael Lenson, to the Nutley Museum in honor of the Class of 1967. Lenson was a Nutley resident for 30 years who’s studio resided in his home at 16 Enclosure.
Lenson was the head of the NJ branch of mural projects of the Federal Art project, a part of the Works Progress Administration during the thirties and early forties.
His paintings can also be found on the walls of Newark City Hall and the main post office of Mount Hope, West Virginia.
